Austin Parks # 44 STRONG, Inc is a non-profit organization started by Melissa Parks in the fond memory of her late son, Austin Parks, who passed away following a long and hard battle with cancer.
Our goal is to give back to the children’s hospital and the community that played a vital role in supporting our family throughout our journey.
A wise and humble young man, Austin Parks was known in the community for his caring heart. He became a football player very early in his life, donning the #44 jersey. Austin was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer affecting the soft and connective tissues.
While he was successful in his initial battle, Austin eventually passed away following a relapse of his condition. The number 44 remains a very special number in the Parks household and the Lincoln County community.
We are currently undertaking a variety of charitable initiatives to support the growth and development of the CSRA community.
We are working hard to grow our organization, continue the programs we have in place, and also extend our operations to provide valuable resources to the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. We request you to come forward and support our noble venture with a generous donation.
